Glasshue
Large glass-green salad bowl on a table in daylight with a broad green shadow of colour beneath.

Salad Bowl Ø26

Deep, heavy, and green enough to argue with the salad.

Colour

Colour name
Glass Green
How the colour was made
Through-coloured

The colour is in the glass itself, not applied to its surface, so handling and dishwashing cannot wear it off.

Screens do not show glass accurately. These are photographs taken under stated light conditions, not a colour match — the object will look different again in your own room.

About this piece

The largest bowl. Green glass and green leaves are close enough in hue that the contents read as one mass — worth knowing if you wanted contrast. It works better with tomato, citrus and grain than with a plain green salad.

Care and safety

  • Soda-lime glass. Not for the oven, the hob or the microwave.
  • Glass breaks. At 1.28 kg empty, this is heavy — do not lift it one-handed when full.
